We are compiling a comprehensive index of azalea names, along with their hybrid groups, types, the information sources and links to any images. The partial index page example, below, shows the planned organization, conventions and contents:

the names are on a number of pages, organized alphabetically with the pages identified like the books of an encylopedia

each page link shows the first three letters of the first and last names on that page

synonyms and spelling variations for a name are linked to the correct name

synonyms and spelling variations are in parentheses after the correct name
