under construction . . .
but it will be worth the wait
. . .
. . . as our future website, some pages merely describe our
plans.
To join the Azalea Society, please click the Join Us sidebar link.
This page will primarily be lists of public and private gardens, with a
search by geographic location and garden content, and with links to their
e-mail addresses and web sites if any.
We will solicit anyone with a garden to provide their own information for
these pages, using a "fill-in-the-blanks" form for the garden description,
location, facilities, disabled access, visiting hours, fees, etc., as further
described below.
The top page will show some introductory text, a 'View' checkbox with 'State'
and 'Country' menus to identify the area to view, and a 'New' checkbox to add
a garden description. Selecting a state or country will show an index list of
those gardens. Clicking one of those list entries will show all the
information for that garden.
The description of a garden will have a number of fields and buttons to show
the information in a standard format, including an 'Update' button to allow
the information to be changed by its owner (the person with the same e-mail
address).
