4’ x 4’ (2’ x 2’ in 5 years), dense. Vivid purplish-red (57D) in bud. Flowers also 57D with sparse red (53B) dorsal spotting. Outside has narrow greenish-white stripe along the central axis of the petals. Very double with 20-40 lobes and ruffled edges, saucer shaped, 3 per head; 2-2 1/2” x 1 ½” long. Blooms heavily in midseason; mid May in NV. Calyx moderate yellowish-green (138B); 0.4”. Strong yellow-green leaves (144A); elliptic, cuneate base, acute apex, flat edges; 1 ½” x 0.6” wide. Easy to propagate. Plant and bud hardy to -10°F, at least; zone 7. Named for my first daughter who accompanied me to ASA meetings as a baby and then helped me evaluate new azalea hybrids.
