| 7” x 24”, very horizontal habit. White with a very rare strong to light purple stripe (RHS 77B-D) and selfs. Single with ruffled edges, 2 ½” wide. Blooms very late; late June to July in Derwood, MD. Dark green foliage is small and narrow like R nakaharae, but noticeably pubescent. Hardy to -15 F, at least. ‘Alexander’ X an unknown R indicum hybrid. | |||||
