3 ½’ x 3 ½’ (3’ x 3’ in 8 years) intermediate habit. Flowers variable: white with purplish-red (66C) sectors, streaks, sanding, and selfs. Blotch is yellow-green over the white field, and vivid purplish-red (66A) over the pink areas. Hose-in-hose with 5 + 5 wavy-edged lobes, broad funnel-shaped, 3 per truss, 3.2” x 1.8” long. Blooms early to midseason; mid to late April in Springfield, VA. Calyx brilliant yellow-green (149C), 0.25” long. Leaves semi-glossy, mid-green above. Leaf shape: elliptic, broadly acute apex, cuneate base, downcurved edges, 2” x 0.8” wide. Plant and bud hardy to 0°F, at least.
