2’ x 3’ wide. Flowers variable: white with greenish blush and strong purplish-pink stripes; some strong purplish-red with light centers; some light purplish-pink and irregularly bordered white; occasionally pink with white center. Single, open funnel shape, with slightly wavy, elongated oval, somewhat pointed, broadly overlapping lobes; 2 ½-3”. Blooms late May (early midseason/midseason to late). Leaves of heavy substance, glossy, deep green. Hardy to -5. ‘Aikoku’ seedling. BG 0868. Translation: Moon of Love.
