2’ tall x 3’, slow growing, upright, compact. Flowers variable: 1) white with occasional deep purplish-pink sectors and stripes ; 2) dark purplish-pink with irregular white margins. Single, tubular funnel-shaped, with narrow, widely spaced or slightly overlapping, pointed, strongly reflexed lobes, 2- 3” wide. Blooms very late season (Satsuki very late season). Leaves medium, narrow. Hardy to -10°F. Sport of ‘Gobinishiki’. Translation: Great Starlight. |
