2’ x 3’ wide, upright with good branching habit. Flowers highly variable: white with deep pink to strong red stripes and yellow-green blotch; pink with irregular white margins and dark red blotch; occasional strong red selfs. Single, trumpet shaped with rounded, smooth edges, broadly overlapping lobes, , 1 ½-2 ½” wide. Blooms Satsuki midseason; early June in Northern Virginia. Leaves glossy, small. Hardy to -5 F/Zone 7. ‘Kozan’ x ‘Matsunami’. BG 0945. Translation: Plum Treasure. |
