3’ x 3’ (1 ½’ x 1 ½’ in 5 years), dense. Buds strong purplish-pink (62A). Flower inside very pale purple (69A) at margins shading to lighter in center of lobes, with some lobes entirely strong purplish-pink (62A). Blotch consists of strong purplish-pink (63C) spots on upper three lobes. Flower outside very pale purple (69A) with occasional strong purplish-pink (62A) marks. Double with 15-18 waxy, somewhat pointed lobes. No stamens; pistil usually deformed. Blooms midseason; May in NV. Calyx strong yellow-green (144B), 0.4” long, Leaves semi-glossy, moderate yellow-green (146B) above. Leaf shape: elliptic, broadly acute apex, cuneate base, flat edges, 2” x 0.8” wide. Plant and bud hardy to +5°F.
