2 ¼' x 2 ¼' (2’ x 2’ in 9 years), intermediate habit. Buds deep yellowish-pink (43C). Flowers deep yellowish-pink (43C) with a large area of dark salmon spots on dorsal lobes. Semi-double with 5-8 wavy-edged lobes and 1-4 petaloid stamens. broad funnel-shape, 3 per truss, 1.4” x 0.8” long. Blooms abundantly, mid-May in Derwood, MD. Leaves glossy, moderate yellow-green (146B) above. When you, hairs very fine, white above and below. Leaf shape: elliptic, broadly acute apex, cuneate base, flat edges, 1.2” x 0.4” wide. Plant and bud hardy to +2F, at least.
