Shiho 367: 1 1/2’ tall x 3’ wide, spreading habit. Flowers variable: white with dark purplish-pink stripes and lines; occasional selfs of dark purplish-pink, some with white edges. Single, occasionally irregular semidouble, funnel-shaped with 5-7 wide, rounded lobes that are keeled (appearing notched), with wavy to ruffled edges, 3-4” wide. Blooms abundantly late-midseason (late May in Oak Hill, VA). Leaf shape: large. Hardy to -10; Zone 7, at least. ‘Taihei’ seedling. Translation: Purple Treasure. PI 131310, 1939. BG 0385, 1089. Registered 1956. Note: several cultivars bear the same name.
