Low, spreading, dense. Flowers variable: pale tints of strong pink (RHS 52D to pale purplish-pink (RHS 55D), sometimes paler at the margins; variously sectored, striped, and flecked with strong red (RHS 50A); occasionally selfed; greenish-white throat; deep pink blotch (RHS 185D), or a prominent deep purplish-red (RHS 59B) over markings. Single, broad funnel shape with 5-6 wavy lobes; 3 3/8” x 1 7/16”. Blooms late; early June in Oakton, VA. Leaves elliptic; 1 9/16” x ¾” wide. Zone 7.
