The Texas chapter of the ASA was reorganized on January 1, 2007, from the previous Dallas chapter which was established in 1989. The reorganization opened membership to include Houston and East Texas. Since 2007, our chapter has grown to include members from Louisiana, Georgia and Arkansas.

Our meetings and special projects are generally rotated between Houston, Nacogdoches, and Tyler.
