1 ½’ x 1 ¾’ (2’ x 2 ½’ in 6-7 years), intermediate habit. Flowers variable. Buds greenish-white with light to dark purplish-pink markings. Most flower white with purplish-pink (62C) stripes, streaks, and flecks, and some greenish-yellow dorsal spotting; some blushed pink with darker markings and blotch; others in shades of light to moderate purplish-pink with irregular white margins and a prominent very dark purplish-red blotch. Semi-double with 5 or morelobes and some petaloid stamens, broadly funnel-shaped, 3 per head, 2 ¼ -3” x 1 ½” long. Blooms midseason; early to mid-May in Springfield, VA. Calyx brilliant yellowish-green (140B), 0.4” long. Leaves semi-glossy, moderate yellow-green (138B) above, hairless. Leaf shape: broadly acute apex, rounded base, flat, 1 ¼” x ¾” wide. Plant and bud hardy to 0°F, at least.
