| 3’ tall x 3 3/4’ wide with an intermediate habit. Flowers variable: 1) Very Light Purple (lighter than 75C), some with Light Reddish-Purple (NN74C) sectors, stripes and lines; 2) an occasional fukurin: Deep Purplish-Pink (lighter than N66D) with an irregular white margin and prominent Deep Purplish-Red (71A) blotch; 3) Light Reddish-Purple (NN74C) with a Strong Purplish-Red (60B) blotch. Double with up to 18 petals (8+5+5), broad funnel-shaped with rounded, overlapping lobes and frilly edges, 2 3/4” wide x 1 1/2” long, 1-3 per cluster. Blooms early-midseason (late April to early May in Oak Hill, VA). Calyx Strong Yellow-Green (143C), 1/4” long. Foliage Moderate Yellow-Green (138A), semiglossy. Leaf shape: elliptic with a cuneate base and acuminate tip, downcurved base-to-tip, up to 1 1/2” long x 3/4” wide. Zone 7.
