3’ x 3’ with an intermediate habit. Flowers variable: 1) white with Strong Reddish-Purple (NN78C) lobes, sectors, stripes, and lines, as well as Light Purple 75B) stripes and lines; 2) Strong Reddish-Purple (NN78C) selfs. Blotch is Strong Yellow-Green (N144D) on the white fields, Strong Reddish-Purple (NN78B) on the dark backgrounds. Single with some petaloid stamens, funnel-shaped, rounded overlapping lobes with slightly wavy edges, 3 1/4” wide x 2 1/4” long, 2-3 per cluster. Blooms midseason (mid May in Oak Hill, VA). Calyx Strong Yellow-Green (143A), 3/8” long. Foliage Dark Yellowish-Green (139A), semiglossy. Leaf shape: elliptic, rounded base, broadly acute tip, flat edges, up to 2” long x 1” wide. Zone 7. Cross: CB #11, unnamed hybrid grown by Cliff Brown x ‘Folly’, Glenn Dale. Selection number: RBS 178. Breeder code: #7-97-5. Named for a very active member of the Northern Virginia Chapter.
