2 1/4’ tall x 2 1/4’wide with a dense to intermediate habit. Flowers variable: 1) white, heavily marked with Deep Purplish-Pink (N66C) sectors, stripes, lines and dashes with a faint yellow-green blotch; 2) selfs of Deep Purplish-Pink (N66C) with a small, slightly darker blotch. Single with a few petaloid stamens, funnel-shaped, with oval-rounded, overlapping lobes that appear pointed, smooth edges, 2,1/4” wide x 1 3/4” long. Blooms early-midseason (late April to early May in Oak Hill, VA). Calyx Moderate Yellow-Green (143D), 5/16” long. Foliage Strong Yellow-Green (143A), matte. Leaf shape: elliptic with a cuneate base and broadly acute tip, downcurved, base to tip, up to 2 1/8” long x 1” wide. Zone 7. Cross: Stewart #8-90-16 (CB #11, unnamed hybrid grown by Cliff Brown, selfed) x ‘Sam Moller’ syn ‘Germanique’, Deckert. Selection number: RBS 84. Breeder code: #8-98-1. Named for Budne Reinke for his work with the Ben Morrison Chapter, including serving as its President.
