| 2’ tall x 2’ wide with a dense habit. Buds Moderate Purplish-Pink (66D) shading to white near the base. Flowers tonal: Strong Purplish-Pink (63D) to Strong Purplish-Red (63B) at the margins, shading to white, then yellowish-green at the center with sparse Vivid Purplish-Red (67B) spotting on the dorsal lobe. Double to semidouble with 15-17 petals, broad funnel-shaped with rounded lobes and wavy edges, 2 1/2" wide x 1 1/2” long, 2-3 per cluster. Stamens absent, white pistil, green stigma. Blooms early-midseason (late April in Vienna, VA). Foliage Moderate Yellow-Green (146B). Leaf shape: elliptic with a cuneate base and broadly acute tip, up to 2” long x 1/2” wide. Zone 7. Breeder code: LJ-11-82. Cross: ‘Rebecca Taffet’, Klimavicz x ‘James Stewart’, Stewart. Rarely sets seed. Somewhat difficult to propagate. | |||||
