Vigorous Upright Zone 7 'Azuma-kagami', 'Asumakagami' ‘Yata-no-Kagami’ ‘Shiun-no-Tsuki’
Vigorous, upright habit. Flowers somewhat variable: tones of light pink, some shading to deeper pink edges with marbling & toning of blush to deep pink, darker blotch. Single, funnel-shaped with rounded, keeled (appearing notched), overlapping lobes and smooth edges, 2-3” wide. Blooms late midseason (Satsuki early-midseason). Foliage glossy, small. ‘Yata no Kagami’ x ‘Shiun no Tsuki’. Registered 1966. Translation: Mirror of the East. BG 0506.
