| 3’ x 2’ wide. Flowers deep purplish-pink with blotch of darker dots. Irregular double to semidouble with petaloid stamens, spaced, narrowly overlapping lobes that appear notched and pointed, smooth edges, 2 1/2-3” wide. Blooms early June (Satsuki mid to late season), and again in the fall. Leaves medium in size. Zone 7/hardy to -5 F. Translation: Laughing Lion. | |||||
