| 3’ x 3’ (1 ½’ x 1 ½’ in 5 years), dense. Buds strong to light purple (N80B-C). Flower white with strong to light purple (N80B-C) margins, and slight dorsal spotting of the same color. Single with 5 wavy-edged lobes, saucer shaped, 3 per head, 2” x 1 ½” wide. Blooms mid-May in Vienna, VA. Calyx moderate yellow-green (138B), ½” long. Leaves glossy, moderate olive-green (146A) above, hairless. Leaf shape: obovate, obtuse apex, cuneate base, flat, 2” x 0.8” wide. Plant and bud hardy to 0°F. | |||||
