| 2 ½’ x 3’ wide (2’ x 2 ½’ in 8 years), intermediate habit. Flowers white with light yellowish-pink margins and lightly flushed green base. Single with 5 frilly-edged lobes and some petaloid stamens, broad funnel-shape, 3 per cluster, 3 1/4” wide x 1 3/4" long. Blooms abundantly in mid to late season (mid-May in Springfield, VA). Calyx brilliant yellow-green (149C), 0.5” long. Leaves moderate olive-green (near 137B), hairless. Leaf shape: elliptic, acute apex, cuneate base, flat edges, 2 1/4” long x 3/4" wide. Plant and bud hardy in Zone 7. Named for the hybridizer's wife. | |||||
