| Medium, upright habit, vigorous. Flowers light purplish-pink, sometimes with a white center, with a dark purplish-pink blotch. Single, funnel-shaped, with very wavy lobes, 2 ½-3” wide. Blooms late season. Leaves rounded. Zone 7, at least; hardier than many Satsuki. One of the oldest Satsuki and probably a selection from the wild. Translation: Celebration of Happiness. | |||||
