| Slow growing, upright, bushy. Flowers variable: 1) white with purplish-red stripes and lines, yellow-green blotch; 2) moderate pink with irregular white margins and dark blotch; 3) dark purplish-pink selfs. Single, broad funnel-shaped with, rounded, overlapping, strongly reflexed lobes, slightly wavy edges, 3-4” wide. Blooms late (Satsuki late to very late season). Leaves rounded, medium in size. ‘Hozan’ x ‘Eiten’. Translation: Light of Japan. Registered 1940. BG 1160. | |||||
